Guam Budget Car Rental

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) 
is mandatory for debit card renters. CDW relieves the renter of all financial responsibility for the rental car, less deductible assessed, whether the renter's fault or third party for auto to auto accidents.

Exclusions: CDW does not cover vandalism, auto-object damage, tires, rims, hubcaps, & non-collision-related glass window breakage.

SUPER CDW (SCDW) 
relieves the renter of financial responsibility for the deductible required under  CDW, in the case of accidental damage whether the renter's fault or a third-party auto-auto accident. 

Exclusions: SCDW does not cover vandalism, auto-object damage, tire, rims, hubcaps, & non-collision-related glass window breakage.

Theft Protection Coverage (TPC) 
protects the renter from the cost of the vehicle replacement in the event of theft of the rental car, the cost of the vehicle parts replacement in the event of stolen vehicle parts, & the cost of repair for damages to the rental car caused by malicious acts of vandalism with intent to steal. 

Exclusions: TPC does not cover the cost of replacement of stolen personal effects.

Protection Accident Insurance (PAI) 
will not apply if the renter has violated the terms & conditions of the Rental Agreement, or if the loss results from intentionally self-inflicted injury, while committing or attempting to commit an assault or felony, or in consequence of being intoxicated or under the influence of any narcotic.

Roadside Service - 
$4.95 per day. Should customer have any issues at any time for a flat tire, key lock out, or other vehicle related issues. They can contact our office for assistance.

Rescue Fee - 
$25 one-time fee. If customer doesn’t purchase the Roadside Service and still requires assistance, they will be charged this one-time fee.

Terms and Conditions

CONDITION OF RENTED AUTOMOBILE (AUTO): 
The customer acknowledges that the rented vehicle has been delivered to the customer in good condition by Atkins Kroll, Inc. dba Avis, Budget, Payless Rent a Car. The customer agrees to return the auto in the same condition.

AUTHORIZATION TO CHARGE CUSTOMER’S CREDIT CARD: 
The customer authorizes Budget Rent A Car to charge the customer’s credit card for all the charges owed to AVIS by the customer under this agreement, including but not limited to the rental fees, gasoline, towing, lost and/or damaged keys, detailing fees and uninsured damage to the auto.

DAMAGE TO THE AUTO: 
Except as stated under “Insurance for the Auto,” the below customer is responsible for and agrees to reimburse Budget Rent-A-Car for all uninsured damage to the auto or any part of the auto occurring during the rental period, whether or not such damage is caused by customer, another driver, collision of the auto, roadway conditions, vandalism, theft of the auto, acts of God, typhoons, earthquakes, flood, lightening, or other forces of nature, or by any cause whatsoever. The customer authorizes Budget Rent A Car to charge the customer’s credit card for all uninsured damage to the auto. All repair estimates for damage to the auto shall be prepared by Budget Rent A Car and all repairs shall be performed by Budget Rent A Car.

INSURANCE FOR THE AUTO: 
The customer acknowledges that Budget Rent A Car does not maintain collision or comprehensive insurance coverage on Budget  Rent A Car-owned vehicles unless the customer has purchased CDW as defined below. The customer is responsible for all damage to the Auto.

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) FOR AUTO-TO-AUTO COLLISIONS: 
CDW is a waiver of Budget Rent-A-Car’s right to charge customer for damages to the auto caused by the actual physical collision of the auto with another vehicle. The customer acknowledges that even if CDW is purchased, CDW does not relieve the customer from the obligation to pay for damage to the auto that is not caused by the actual collision of the auto with another vehicle. CDW     does not cover damage to the auto (a) caused by drivers who have not been authorized or approved by Budget Rent-A-Car, (b) while the auto is being operated in violation of the terms of this agreement, (c) while any person operating the auto under the influence of alcohol or any drugs or controlled substances, or (d) that is not evidenced by a valid police report. The customer acknowledges that CDW does not apply to interior stains in the auto, damage to the auto’s wheels, tires, rims, or windows, or damage caused by vandalism or by a hit-and-run driver. The customer must reimburse AVIS for all damage to the auto arising from all such causes even if CDW is purchased.

The customer understands and agrees that if the auto is rented with a debit or check card, the purchase of CDW is mandatory. If CDW is purchased, the customer is liable for the deductible amount of either $500 or $1000 depending on vehicle class.

ZERO DEDUCTIBLE COVERAGE (ZDC) FOR AUTO-TO-AUTO COLLISIONS: 
ZDC is CDW without any deductible.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI): 
PAI is automobile liability insurance that insures customers against claims for third-party personal injury and property damage arising from customers’ operations of auto. Budget Rent A Car is not an insurance company. If a customer purchases PAI, the customer will have automobile liability coverage through a licensed insurance company with policy limits complying with local mandatory minimum automobile liability insurance laws.

The customer agrees that CDW, ZDC, and PAI purchased through Budget Rent-A-Car are excess insurance coverage over any other insurance coverage available to the customer.

INSURER-AUTHORIZED RENTAL: 
If the customer is renting the auto with authorization from an insurance company, CDW will be provided to the customer at no charge. The customer shall be the only authorized driver of the auto under this section of this agreement. Customers shall pay an additional flat fee of $14.95 for additional authorized drivers.

GOVERNMENT RENTAL: 
If the customer is a federal government employee with government or military training orders or travel authorization, the Government Administrative Rate Supplement (GARS) fee of $5.00 per day will be added to the customer’s auto rental fees.

USE OF AUTO: 
The customer agrees that the auto shall not be used for any illegal purpose, racing, towing, commercial freight purpose, off-road recreation, or transport of flammable or hazardous materials or waste. The customer will reimburse Budget Rent A Car for all damages, attorney fees, and costs Budget Rent A Car may suffer arising from a violation of this section of this agreement.

ACCIDENTS: Customer must report all accidents to Budget Rent A Car and the police within 24 hours after the accident. The customer shall assist Budget Rent-A-Car in the investigation, defense of prosecution of all claims. The customer shall not enter into any settlement agreement with any third party after an accident without Budget Rent A-Car’s written consent.

INDEMNITY: 
The customer agrees to defend indemnity and hold Budget Rent A Car harmless from and against any bodily injury or property damage claims arising from the customer’s use of the auto, including Budget Rent A Car’s attorney fees.

TRAFFIC & PARKING TICKETS : 
The customer is responsible for paying all parking and traffic violations arising from the use of the auto.

GASOLINE : 
The customer must return the auto with the gas at the same level at the time of pickup. Should auto be returned with gas at a lesser level, you will be charged for the fuel service.

THEFT PROTECTION COVERAGE (TPC): 
TPC protects the renter from the cost of vehicle replacement in the event of theft of the rental car, the cost of vehicle replacement parts, and the cost for repair of damages to the rental car caused by malicious acts of vandalism with intent to steal. 
Exclusions: 
TPS does not cover the cost of replacement of stolen personal items in the event of rental car breaks. Budget Rent-A-Car is also not liable for theft of personal items from the auto.

NO PETS, NO SMOKING, & NO FOUL ODORS: 
No smoking in the auto. No Pets allowed and transported in the auto. The customer agrees to pay a vehicle reconditioning fee of $250.00 should the auto be returned heavily soiled with excessive stains, trash, dirt, and odors attributable to your use that require professional detailing.

FAILURE TO RETURN ON TIME: 
If a customer fails to return the auto when scheduled, the customer shall pay one full day’s rental for each day the auto is not returned.

NO OFF-ROADING: 
The auto must be always driven on paved, government-owned roads. The customer is liable to Budget Rent A Car for all damage caused in whole or part by a violation of this clause of this agreement.

DISPUTES & ATTORNEY FEES: 

If there is any litigation between Budget Rent-A-Car and the customer arising from this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all reasonable attorney fees and costs of the suit from the other party. In the event of such litigation, the customer agrees that the litigation shall be heard and decided by a judge, not a jury. Budget Rent A Car and customer waive the right to atrial by jury.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT: 
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Budget Rent-A-Car and the customer. This agreement may only be modified in writing and executed by Budget Rent-A-Car and the customer.

Cancellation fee information

7 days to 4 days before the date of use: 20% of the deposit

3 days to 2 days before the date of use: 50% of the deposit

From 1st day of use to the day of use: 100% of the deposit

If you cancel your reservation, you will be charged a cancellation fee as described above.

The reservation cancellation application period is calculated based on 09:00-17:00.
